The Wilmington Soldiers Youth Football & Cheerleading Association, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization providing positive recreational and educational alternatives for the youths ages 6-15 in the city of Wilmington, Delaware and surrounding areas. We will inspire them regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin by implementing good sportsmanship, leadership, integrity, health, honesty, courage, loyalty, citizenship, scholarship, character, and respect for themselves and others among all players and coaches to assist them into becoming productive members of society. We are participating in the First State Preparatory American Youth Football League partnering with the AYF (American Youth Football) powered by Under Armour backed by the NFL with each team playing 8 regular season games, 3 playoff games, the big game the Super bowl, Regionals, National Championships and the last game of the season the North vs. South All-star game with each team choosing 4 players from their roster to participate from each age group 6-8 (1st-3rd graders) freshmen, 9-10 (4th/5th graders) sophomores, 11-12 (6th/7th graders) juniors, 13-15 (8th/9th graders) seniors. If you’re a parent that wants the best future for your kid in football, I guarantee that you and your kid or kids will love this team and league each age group is unlimited weight, this means that every kid can play regardless of their size or weight, and any kid can run the football regardless of their size or weight it's up to the coaches to put the players in the right position to win. This team and league is great for getting your kid prepared for the high school level of play cause it's the closest thing to real football because it is real football. I PROMISE YOU STARS & SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE PRODUCED FROM THIS TEAM & LEAGUE!!!

WHAT YOU AND YOUR KIDS WILL RECEIVE FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE WILMINGTON SOLDIERS
We give each family fundraising opportunities to insure that you get the best without using your own money, and buyout options are available if you wish to buyout. By your commitment your kid or kids will receive, football players: helmet, shoulder pads, home & away custom game uniforms with their last names on the back of their jerseys, practice uniform, socks, personal equipment bag and cleats. Cheerleaders: uniform, sneakers, warm-ups, socks rain jacket, turtle neck, hair bow, pom poms and personal equipment bag. They will play their games at high school stadiums with game announcers, champions will advance to the AYF Regional playoff tournament, and Regional tournament winners will advance to the AYF National Championships in Disney World Florida. TIME TO GIVE OUR KIDS AND OUR WALLETS WHAT THEY DESESRVE THE BEST!!!!

FIRST GAME OF SEASON IS AUGUST 24/25, 2012 WEEKEND

UNLIMITED WEIGHT TEAMS
Each age group goes by the kids age only, there are NO WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS any kid can run the football. This is great for getting your kid prepared for high school football.

UNIFORMS
Each age group will have a custom home & away uniform with the players last name on the back of their jerseys. our colors are, PURPLE, BLACK, WHITE AND GOLD.

EQUIPMENT
Each kid will get top quality shoulder pads & football helmets with hard cup chinstraps by Riddell.(HELMETS WILL BE PURPLE WITH GOLD FACEMASK AND A GOLD HARD CUP CHIN STRAP).

PRACTICE LOCATION
Practice will be located at McCullough Middle School 20 Chase Ave. New Castle, Delaware 19720 and will begin July 22, 2013 6pm-8pm Monday thru Friday and three times a week when school starts. (GOTO DIRECTIONS ON LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE)

SCOUTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
There will be High School scouts from Private, Charter, and Vo-Tech Schools in the Tri-State area looking for new talent to enhance their future teams and provide Scholarships for our youth.

TUTORING
ALL KIDS THAT ARE APART OF OUR ORGANIZATION MUST MAINTAIN A C GRADE POINT AVERAGE OR BETTER AND WE PROVIDE TUTORING TO KEEP OUR KIDS ON TRACK AND WE ARE HAPPY TO SAY THAT 86% OF OUR KIDS MADE THE HONORAL DURING OUR FOOTBALL SEASON.

DISCIPLINE
We require that all of our players/cheerleaders have good behavior on and off the field. Teachers and parents may contact their kids head coach if they have any problems with their kids to keep them on the right path of being great citizens of their community.

MINI CAMP
Mini camp will be every Sunday starting Sunday March 3, 2013 2pm-5pm at McCullough Middle School 20 Chase Ave. New Castle, DE 19720

RAFFLE TICKET FUNDRAISERS 
Each kid will receive 70 $5.00 raffle tickets to sell and $350.00 will be due June 1, 2013. There will be a $250.00 cash prize winner awarded at our first home games at the halftimes of the 6-8 freshmen, 9-10 sophomores, 11-12 juniors, and 13-15 seniors games. The benefits of the raffle ticket fundraiser is to give the parents another option other than spending your hard earned money for registration fees. The raffle ticket fundraiser is a WIN WIN opportunity for you the parent and the people you sell them to. You the parent will help your child with his/her fundraiser responsibilties and the people you sell them to will fill great for supporting such a great cause for your child and having four chances to win $250.00 for a small donation to support your child. There's no other organization around doing this for the kids, we want all of the kids to be apart of this great experience and we don't want to break your pockets doing it. All raffle ticket money will be used for football players CUSTOM HOME AND  AWAY GAME UNIFORMS,HELMETS AND SHOULDER PADS, FOOTBALL CLEATS, SOCKS, PRACTICE HELMET, PRACTICE JERSEY, PRACTICE PANTS, AND 4 RAFFLE TICKET CASH PRIZE WINNERS. EACH KID WILL RECEIVE 15 $10.00 LOTTERY CALENDER FUNDRAISERS TO SELL. KIDS WILL RECEIVE THERE LOTTERY FUNDRAISER WHEN THEY REGISTER $150.00 IS DUE BY JULY 27, 2013. EVERYONE THAT YOU SELL A CALENDER TO WILL RECEIVE A 4-DIGIT LOTTERY NUMBER AT THE BOTTOM OF IT AND FOR EVERYDAY IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST THAT THEIR NUMBER COMES OUT THEY WILL WIN $100.00. ALL WINNINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO RECEIVE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2013.
