HIGHLIGHTS
Team Wilson finish 2nd in Midway Blast Tournament February 29 - March 1.
4-1. Great Tournament!
Team Wilson finish 3rd in USTBA Rome Tournament March 29 - March 30.
2-2. Terrific Tournament and alot of heart!
Team Wilson finish 3rd in the East Cobb Invitation April 4 - April 6.
1-2. Played back to back to back games. We never quit.
Team Wilson finished 3rd out of 12 teams in the Creekview Tournament
April 18 - April 20 going 3-1. We played really hard at this tournament.
Congratulation to Andrew winning 1st in the Homerun Derby with 11 and
Michael B. 2nd place with 8. Congratulation to Devon winning 1st place in the fastest around the base competition.
Team Wilson was 1-1 in the Cedartown USTBA tournament April 26 - 27. Due to rain the tournament was cancelled on Sunday.
Team Wilson finished 3rd out of 10 teams in Ellijay - Cat Attack May 3 - May 4 going 2-3. Starting 0-2 in Bracket play finishing 9th in the seed, put our back against the wall on Sunday and starting Sunday play at 8am. Finally, getting beat by Midway in the Semifinals. Our boys showed the most heart of any team that I have ever seen and being TOTALLY exhausted playing the semifinal game. Awesome job by showing courage and a ton of heart.
Team Wilson finished 3rd in the silver in Dalton May 16 - May 18
going 1-3. The 1st game we played the BPA World Champ. in 2007 the Colonels and gave them a very solid defense game. After the 1st game we only gave up 10 runs in 3 games, and had 1 bad inning out of 21 innings this weekend. We played a very solid weekend of baseball.
Team Wilson finished 2nd in the USTBA State National Championship May 23 - May 25 going 2-3. This is a huge accomplishment for the boys. Everyone gave it all the whole weekend. All weekend we were very solid on defense and pitching. Team Wilson you should be very proud of yourselves. Awesome job.
Team Wilson was 1-1 in the round robin in Calhoun Saturday May 31. Sunday games was rained out.
Team Wilson Came in 3rd place the weekend of June 6 - June 8. Loss in the Semifinals against Webb Bridge, who won the tournament. Team Wilson was
3-2 in the tournament. Scored an unbelievable 56 total runs in 5 games. Awesome. We had great pitching, great defense, and great offense. Showed alot of heart, courage, and no quitting on our team. Every game we battled hard.
Team Wilson Came in 2nd place in Silver going 2-3 and runner up in the BPA State. Team Wilson has the most heart of any team that I have seen. We never quit.
This year we came in 2nd place twice ( Midway, USTBA state, and BPA state), came in 3rd place 6 times (which means one game away from the finals), and did not finish two tournaments due to rain and tornadoes.
Awesome accomplishment. Good Job.
Fantastic job in Panama City June 22 - June 28. Finished 5th out of 12 teams. All of Team Wilson showed a ton of heart and couraged.
Great season Team Wilson looking forward to next season.
