CONGRATULATIONS to Mikayla Wallace, the only middle school aged child selected from Leon County to compete in the 100 & 200 Meter Dash during the 2013 Special Olympics being held at the Disney ESPN Wide World of Sports May 17 - 19!

   GREAT JOB goes out to JAVONYA PETERSON for being selected as a "First Team All-Region Scholar Athlete!"  Javonya represents an elite group of only 35 Football and 35 Spirit participants in the Pop Warner Southeastern Region.  She will be honored at the Southeast Region Scholar Banquet being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, in Orlando, Florida on April 20, 2013.  

In addition to this exceptional accolade, Javonya has also been chosen to be a "National First Team All-American Scholar."  As a member of this team she represents the top 70 athletes nationwide in her grade.  For this accomplishment Javonya will be honored at the "53rd Annual Pop Warner Little Scholars, All-American Weekend" being held in Boston, Massachusetts on May 24-25.  Congratulations Javonya on this very prestigious accomplishment, you represent the Jaguars well!
