Save the Date - July 21, 2012
Our annual picnic will be held at Nay Aug Park on Saturday, July 21, 2012 beginning at 11am. Lunch and dinner will be served. Wrestlers are free, adults are $15 and additional children (3-12 years old) are $10, payable in advance. There is also a $3 fee for the pool/slides which is payable at the park. Tickets will be sold in room 129 at WSHS on 6/4, 6/5, 6/13 and 6/14 from 5:30pm to 7pm. Your singlet deposit can be used towards your ticket purchase once your singlet has been returned.

01/15/12 Dual Meet vs Tunkhannock & Wyoming Area
January 16, 2012
Yesterday was our first home dual meet and things went fairly well. THANK YOU to everyone who donated items and/or volunteered their time!!! We went 1-1 pulling off a very close win to Tunkhannock, 50-49, but we lost a tough one to Wyoming Area, 36-60. Our record this season is 5-5. Next Sunday we will return to Delaware Valley and I believe there will be an early start. Coach Doug will make an announcement this week at practice to let you know what time you should arrive. The following week, January 29th, we will be back at home and we will need all of your help again. If there is something specific you would like to cook or donate, please see Amy as I will be out of town this week. ~Chris
2009-2010 Wrestling Team
Our club is for wrestlers ages 5 to 12. We wrestle in the Penn League which is a dual meet league. Practice begins in October and matches are scheduled each week from December through February of every season. All children will wrestle from beginners to the experienced wrestler. Our club members also wrestle in open tournaments.

12/04/11 Dual Meet vs Back Mountain & Berwick
December 5, 2011
Yesterday was our first dual meet of the season. We beat Back Mountain but lost to Berwick. I want to apologize to those wrestlers who might have only gotten one match. There are alot of factors that can cause this to happen.......no opponents at the same weight, ran out of time and the varsity matches began, or sometimes we may even have a match set up for your child but his opponent never showed up or they just got stage fright and backed out. We will do our best to get these kids two matches at next weeks dual meet at Wilkes-Barre YMCA. I will be updating team scores and individual stats on our website this week. If I make an error with your child's stats, please let me know. Congrats to all of our wrestlers, you did a great job! Photos have been uploaded to our Shutterfly website (click here). I'm still adjusting to my new camera and had some issues this weekend but I think the pics came out pretty good compared to past seasons. Enjoy :)
