Great job by our cheerleaders . . . 4 teams . . . 4 placement spots claimed! Trophies came home for 1st & 2d place . . . the Mini II & Junior Divisions added Grand Champion cups to their 1st place trophies, ranking highest points overall in each of their level divisions & receiving PAID bids to NATIONALS!

IN THE BEGINNING . . .
Xcel-Rebels Cheer, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization which developed from Xcel-Gators All Stars and Florida Rebels All Stars organizations. Xcel-Rebels has an active membership with the USASF organization. Most of us are volunteers with an interest to train young people in the skill of all star cheerleading -- it's fun! it's healthy! it's great exercise! it's positive progression towards wholesome adults, both physically & socially! Chris Highbrown has joined forces with us & we're excited to have him on board! Our lead people on the Xcel-Rebels coaching staff are head coaches Chris Highbrown, Nancy Denicourt, and Amy Hill with our assistant coaches Briana Denicourt, Kali Hill, Aubrie Hill and Danica Gray. Each of our coaches draw from their own personal experience in the cheer world & share that experience with all teams in areas of motions, stunting, dance, and jumps. Tumble instruction/practice is included with every team's cheer practice as well as an additional Friday 'tumble only' night for cheer team members. The regular hour tumble classes continue year 'round on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. Our tumble coaches are Ross Engel, Chris Highbrown, Kara Babij & Elissa Shaffer. Privates are available with each of our tumble coaches - please ask for info!
Xcel-Rebels trains all-stars from mini through senior (5-18 yrs) aged groups. We require dedication and a willingness to listen and learn from each cheerleader (and their parents) as well as strong committment and a desire to reach for the stars. The cheer team season begins in June and ends in April each year -- come on in & enjoy the fun!

On January 9, 2007, Xcel Gators lost one of its cheerleaders to a tragic auto accident. Krista was her name ~ she is missed ~ she is with us forever.
