Youth Basketball of America is a truly unique organization which offers league development,tournaments,educational clinics,scholarships,discounted insurance programs,materials and merchandise for member organizations.
We believe you will agree that Youth Basketball of America's programs and support services will greatly benefit each and every Association or Club. After all,the people who design YBOA programs work continually in the field with players,coaches and administrators and can easily relate to various situations and problems. At YBOA,we pride ourselves in having a program run by people who work with sports-minded youngsters.
A national basketball organization with international affiliates in Canada,Mexico,Puerto Rico,South America,Central America and Europe,YBOA was founded in 1989 by Donald A.Ruedlinger in Orlando,Florida. The principles upon which YBOA was established were developed from Ruedlinger's more than twenty-year association with children and coaches while running leagues and directing local,state,regional and national tournaments from Orlando.
