National Championships 2007 : Our mission
The 2007 National Championships are begining to take shape. We have currently contacted around 80 legues across the United States,Canada, and Mexico. Our organization is out to promote the great sport of wiffleball. We have had a National Championship for three years now. We are continuely inviting other leagues across the country to participate. We understand each region and league has its on unique style and rules of play. Our goal is to have our Championship all across the country. With each league having a chance to host it. Most teams at the National Championship level are The league champions and runners up and a all star team of the rest of the players from that region. In other words at the National level you can have 3 teams from your league play. If your league has different levels like Lone Star Wiffleball Association, or the Texas Wiffleball Association we also have Championships for them. Our National Championship has a Major League level(Very Competitive,Pros), AAA level(average players), and AA(Rookies). We do this to encourage teams to continue to play and help develop more competitive teams. All in all its a good time. We will be having it in Dallas, Texas this year. Dallas is a centrally located city with a major airport. It is easy to get to from all over the country. The cost to your league is very minnimal. You do not pay outragous fees to play. Our National Tourney only costs $40.00. Your league does not have to pay a fee to be associated with OSWA. If you would like more information contact Tony @ hooligan88@hotmail.com or call (214)483-2737. (leave a message if no answer) 2004 we had 8 teams, 2005 we had 15 teams, 2006 we had 30 teams. This year we expect 80 teams. We already 27 teams from across the country committed to play this year. Send your leagues best to Dallas in 2007 and see if you can win it.

Traditional Wiffleball is Back
Traditional wiffleball has been lost due to these new versions of our beloved sport. Thats when a group of wiffleballers decided it was time to bring the glory of the old style of wiffle back. So Old School Wiffle was formed. Last year we played in Northeast Oklahoma and Missouri. In 2005 we've grown. We now will have Tournaments in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisana, and Texas (thanks to the Lone Star Wiffleball Association). We are always looking for regional directors as well as teams and players for this great sport. Email hooligan88@hotmail.com to join or for more information. In 2007 we are adding the National College Sreies. We already have teams like SMU, North Texas, Texas Tech and Brookhaven.
