Welcome Winter Park families!
I'd Like to take a moment and thank you all for considering joining forces with the newest, and fastest growing youth football / cheerleading program in Central Florida. The Central Florida Youth Football League is a non - profit, family oriented youth tackle football and cheerleading program. We are a proud member of American Youth Football - The Nation's largest youth tackle football and Cheer program. Please visit our web-site at WWW.CFYFL.COM, and take some time to explore around the many exciting pages a bit to get a good idea of what we are all about.
We are very excited at the prospect of having you all on board as we go into our second season, and continue to grow at an amazing rate. The future is bright, and our goal of making the most positive and best youth sports program in the state continues to be realized.
As with any program involving so many wonderful people, there are growing pains, and many ways to achieve desired results. Having said that, we welcome and invite any and all questions and concerns and comments you may have at any time. Please go through your area's league representative Mark Rose, and if he doesn't have the answer, we will get it for you! You can also email the CFYFL at anytime.
We are happy to announce that we believe 100% of our first year players and families are returning for the 2008 season! We are now accepting registrations and coaching applications. They can be emailed or mailed in and are found on our Forms/Questions page at WWW.CFYFL.COM
More details and information to come! Also, we will be posting our summer activity schedule on the site very soon! We have a saying in the CFYFL..."When in doubt, check the web-site out"!
We usually keep all new information updated and on the site by updating it each week or as needed.
We consider you a part of the CFYFL family, (You will hear us refer to the CFYFL as a "family" often) and again, you are invited to be as active as you like and participate in anything and all activities we do year 'round! By registering now, you will be invited to the many "Special Events" we do from now all the way through the 2008 fall season.
Parents and Families are what make a youth sports program the best it can be. Our children deserve this, as well as our families. After all, it's all about the kids!

How to Be a Good Sport
Being a great athlete is important, and so is being a great athlete with great sportsmanship! Here are some tips:
1. Be polite to your teammates, coaches, fans, and opponents. There is no place for trash talk in sports. A good sportsman behaves so that he/she can be proud of his/her behavior on and off the field.
2. Do not be a show off-just play your best. If you are good player, people will notice.
3. Tell your teammates and opponents "good game!" whether you won or lost.
4. Knowledge is power! Learn the rules of the game to be the best player you can be. Get to practices and games on time and always give 100%.
5. Listen to your coaches and follow their directions.
6. Do not argue with an official. If you do not understand a call, wait until after the game to ask your coach or the official to explain it to you.
7. Do not make up excuses or blame a teammate after a bad play or after you lose a game. Try to learn from what happened and come back next week better prepared.
8. Everyone on the team wants to play and deserves to play, so be willing to sit out so other team members can get in the game.
9. Always play fair and do not cheat.
10. Cheer for your teammates no matter what the scoreboard shows!
