Impact Coaching Clinics -
The following clinics are
scheduled: NEW!!! January 22, 2006 in Birmingham, Alabama
[1/15/06 is the deadline to register], March 30, 2006 in
Atlanta, Georgia [3/23/06 is the deadline to register] If you
want to sign up for an Impact clinic, download the form from
the forms section of this website and send it to the address
on the form prior to the deadline date. If you want to request
a clinic, please send an email to commish@srva.org.

2006 SRVA ADULT REGIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2006 Adult
Regional Championships will occur on Saturday March 25, 2006
(and Sunday 3/26/06 if necessary). The site and entry fee are
yet to be determined. The tournament will offer Men's and
women's competition in AA/A/BB/B, and we hope to offer
separate collegiate club and recreation championships this
year. NEW THIS YEAR is a season championship for the team in
each division/classification with the most points earned
during the season, with double points awarded at the Regional
Championship. The prize amount per team is $450. Hopefully, a
team party will be offered again this year. Mark your calendar
and plan to attend.

JR's REFEREE & SCOREKEEPER
CLINICS
The SRVA, in response to
requests for an electronic / online clinic, has invested time
and resources into the completion and implementation of this
task. After your club has registered with the SRVA, you will
each receive two CD’s of information; these disks will allow
you to schedule & teach your own Referee and Scorekeeper
clinics when they best fit your club’s schedule. This provides
for greater flexibility and ease in the training of your
Junior Players, Coaches and Parents. These disks will be
provided to your club at no charge. Each disk will contain the
appropriate PowerPoint file, a copy of the free PowerPoint
Viewer and supporting documentation for successful
presentations of the clinics.

2006 GIRLS JUNIOR OLYMPIC
VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
June 28-July 5, 2006
The 2006 Girls Junior Olympic Volleyball
Championships will be held in Atlanta, Georgia from June
28-July 5, 2006. The Georgia World Congress Center will be the
site of the event. Southern Region teams can qualify for this
event by competing in the power division of the Southern
Region Junior Regional Volleyball Championships April 15 and
16, 2006 also held in the Georgia World Congress Center.

CHAMPIONSHIPS
New
Orleans, Louisiana from May 27-June 3, 2006
The 2006 USA Open Volleyball
Championships will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from May
27-June 3, 2006. Adult teams in the AA, A, BB, and B divisions
may qualify for this event by competing in the 2006 Southern
Region Adult Regional Championships to be held the weekend of
March 25-26, 2006.
