Boys Bronco League
Boys ages 11 and 12 by September 1st of the year playing

In the Bronco League players continue to receive instruction and development of baseball skills and in-game strategy, with the addition of lead-offs, pick-offs and the infield fly rule. Games are more competitive; wins & losses are recorded and league standings are kept to determine regular season and tournament champions. League Rules dictate playing time and infield/outfield positioning of participants. However, we recognize that not every participant is suited to play every defensive position. Coaches should work to enhance player development in those positions that afford each player the best chances for success. AT NO TIME is winning a game to take precedence over the development of the players. Coaches, players, parents and fans will exemplify Good Sportsmanship at all times.

Coaches build their teams through an open draft held in mid-March, during which each coaching pair takes a turn to select a player from the pool of available talent. The son(s) of both the team Manager and Coach are protected and reserved for that roster. All Bronco League games are played on Community Park Field 6. The season concludes with a single-elimination tournament typically played during the third full week of June.
