(1) All members of the Havenwood Board of Directors must successfully complete a background check, conducted by the Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks office, prior to being appointed to a board position.

(2) Board membership requests are accepted at any time of year and are reviewed for approval by the current Havenwood Board of Directors, at the next scheduled board meeting or electronic vote.

(3) Executive Board of Director (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer) nominees are accepted at anytime of year, however, are voted on at the end of each calendar year, unless the position is vacant.

(4) All board membership is reviewed (and usually renewed) on an annual base.
