Parents are responsible for sizing their child.

This years mandatory fundraiser will be a raffle as in past years. Each player will be required to sale five $5 raffle tickets. Your player will be issued their five raffle tickets with their uniform. Players and Parents are required to sale the raffle tickets and turn in the funds to the Team Manager or Team Mom. All raffle tickets funds must be turned into the League before Opening Day.

Mandatory concession Duty or Opting Out: Its mandatory that a parent work two shifts at the concession stand on game nights this spring. For those that do no want to work 2 concession shifts, the league offers an "Opt Out" option at the cost of $50. If you would like to eliminate your 2 concession duty shifts by "Opting Out" for an extra $50, please select that option from the payment drop down box at the bottom of this page. Each division will include two choices, one with concession and one $50 higher including the opt out.
Penalty: If the parent does not pay the opt out fee and does not serve 2 concession shifts then: a) they will be charged $100.00 ($50.00 "Opt Out" for 2018 and $50.00 "Forced Opt Out" for 2019 season) should they register in the future; b) Their child will not be eligible to play in advanced ball or all stars until the opt out fee is paid or the two shifts are served; c) Their child will not receive a trophy until same is complete.

I/We, the parents of the above named player hereby give my/our consent and approval for his/her participation. I/We assume all responsibilities incidential; to the conduct and activities and transportation to and from activities. I/We do further hereby release, absolve, indeminfy and hold harmless the Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth League, Inc., the organizers, sponsors, and supervisors and will waive all claims against them in the event of injury to my/our child. I/We likewise release from responsibility any person transporting my/our child to and from activities. In addition, in the event my/our child is in need of medical attention. I/We do hereby authorize and consent to the rendering of any all necessay medical care in accordance with acceptance standards of medical care for my/our child.

PHOTO RELEASE AUTHORIZATION

I give permission to the Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth League, Inc. to take and publish photographs, digital images and/or videotaped images of me or my minor child for news, advertising and/or promotional purposes in print and electronic media. I understand that neither I nor my child will be compensated for any photograph or other images which may be used in this capacity. On behalf of myself and/or my minor child, I agree that neither the City of Fernandina Beach, nor its officers, employees, elected and appointed officials, or agents, or the Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth League, Inc., nor its officers, employees, elected and appointed officials, or agents, shall be liable for any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action of any sort whatsoever resulting from the publication of these photographs or other images. On behalf of myself and/or my minor child, I do hereby forever release and discharge the City of Fernandina Beach, its officers, employees, elected and appointed officials, and agents, the Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth League, Inc., its officers, employees, elected and appointed officials, and agents, from all such claims, demands, actions, or causes of action.

On behalf of myself and/or my minor child, I agree that I have read and understand this photo release.

I acknowledge that if I register a player, and then cancel the registration, I will be charged $10.00 to cover the league's processing cost.

If the uniforms have been ordered, and a registration is cancelled, I will receive the registration fee less $65.00 ($55 for the uniform and $10 for processing)

Payment by mail must be received by the league no later than Monday Jan 23rd, 2018 for registration to be valid.

If you need special consideration due to financial hardship, please submit an explanation in writing to the attention of Charles Evans, FBBRL President at the above listed address or email the explanation to charlesevans1961@gmail.com. Please include the players name on the request.
Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball have changed the rules on approved bats. Please see below for approved bats.

Cal Ripken Division (12U and younger): All non-wood bats must have the USA Bat Marking. The bat barrel maximum is 2 5/8". No BBCOR bats are permitted in the Cal Ripken Division. For the T-Ball Division, bats must be marked with the USA Bat T-Ball Stamp.

Babe Ruth Division (13U - 16U): All non-wood bats must have the USA Bat Marking or marked BBCOR .50. The bat barrel maximum is 2 5/8".
