Consent for Photo / Video Release
At events such as Pinewood Derby, Memorial Day, Blue & Gold and other occasions, photos or videos are sometimes taken and later published in local newspapers such as the Echoes-Sentinel. Photos or videos may also be accessible from our website which is password-protected and only accessible by members of Pack 56. By providing your consent, you allow Pack 56 release photos and/or videos in manner described.

Agreement to Abide by the Code of Conduct
Pack 56 has established a Code of Conduct to provide Scouts, Parents, and Adult Leaders with a framework of expectations and disciplinary actions for all members of the Pack. This Code of Conduct will help ensure a common language and understanding for behavioral expectations, and consequences, allowing us to create an atmosphere conducive to fun, safety, and the values of Scouting. Participation in Events and Medical Emergencies
"The Cub Scout I am registering has permission to engage in all prescribed activities, except as noted by me. In the event of illness or accident in the course of such activity, I request that measures be instituted without delay as the judgment of medical personnel dictates."

Pack 56 Communicable Diseases Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that the contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus, as well as other communicable diseases, will cause Pack 56 to adjust their policies and procedures while conducting activities and events. In an effort to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and NJ Department of Health, I may be subject to additional guidelines at scouting events. The Pack will make these additional requirements known to me at the time of registration or as soon as possible thereafter. I understand that in order to participate, or in order for my child to participate, I will have to follow these additional policies and procedures. I also understand that if either I or my child become ill, they will be prohibited from participating in all scouting events and will not be able to return to scouting events without medical clearance. Further, I agree to hold Pack 56 of Long Hill Township and its volunteers harmless from risk, injury or damage suffered including contraction of communicable diseases during the same timeframe I attend an activity.

Voluntary Friends of Scouting Contribution
We ask our parents to consider a small, voluntary donation to the Friends of Scouting, which is a fund set up by the Boy Scouts of America to offset the costs of managing camp properties, training leaders and other activities necessary to providing a quality youth program.
