| What do you mean are they "still amatuers like the rest of us?" Just what does that mean.
Please explain........in my years I have never known of anyone in Class A who recieved coin or incentives to play although I know of one pitcher who is currently in Class B who was going to play Class A and he wanted gas money although he never got it.
Back in the dizzzaaaa (a very long time ago) I know some Class B and C players were given places of employment or so I heard.
No one gets paid so of course we are all amatuers so again explain so the rest of us know what in the world you are talking about.

| What he is talking about Old Timer is that you are an idiot. First of all Park has not scored Ten runs in all their games. I remember them getting ten runned this year and not posting it on their website. They had excuses for why they played so bad. If you are wanting to be an ESPN anaylst, than act like one. Keep your opinion non bias. If you are actually still playing in the league than fine, it is a different story. Otherwise close your high school yearbook and move on.

| thanks 17. But what I was really saying is that you need to get off your knees... We are amatuers - we dont get paid, so there is no need for your to chase jerzeys/cleats (whatever the hell you called it back in your day!) I know those are your guys and its fine to give them props - they deserve it. However, I think everyone already knows what you are saying (and you keep saying it over and over again) they are good. But you do sound like a 16 year talking about her favorite band!

| I remember a LHP a few years back who came in, pitched a few innings for us, and got lit up. He was an older guy who I believe had pitched a while in the minors and then for a team in Western Wisconsin. He actually said, "You mean you aren't going to pay me??" after the game. Then he left and we never saw him again. I think we should pay guys a nominal fee. Then I can call myself a "professional baseball player." Girls would like me more. Think of how much snatch Bud Grant got back in the day because teams payed him. Probably some.

| We haven't been 10-runned this year that I know of, and if we had I would have put it on our site and not cared the least bit. Correct my mistake, I'll check our book and make the change if you'll feel better. It wouldn't be the first or last time we've been 10 runned.
It's June, the real season doesn't start for another month. If we got beat by 50 there isn't a guy on our team who would care, same as winning by 1 or 10. We don't care about May, June, and most of July. All we concern ourselves with is finishing in the top 3 in our league.
Take it for what that's worth to you, but it's a fact.

| Have to agree 100% with Cyclone16 - it is a marathon and it only matters where you finish! You and your squad get it - thats why you are always in it at the end!
