I'm sure there's nothing wrong with Thundervalley Speedway that a couple feet of clay wouldn't fix!

I just watched a video from Thunder Valley! One race had 2 cars and the other had 4! I'm glad the video was less than 4 minutes long, because I couldn't take any more of that excitment!

If somebody in nl knew how to make a real clay track like the real ones on the main land that would be great, so seeing as thats impossible, pavement sounds and looks great to me!!!!!!

Been to Daytona and Bristol and watched follow the leader. If you want to see a real Race go to Eldora Speedway owned by Tony Stewart. Like Tony said when he was interviewed by a reporter at Talladaga "the Real Racing is down the road at the DIRT TRACK".

Hey v8 fan, if you would pay attention to my posts over the years, you would've noticed that I've stated a few times that Nascar racing is the only type of pavement racing I enjoy! The exception to the rule, if you will! So, I'll tell you what I've told many others - think before you type!

As for the "real racing", you'd be hard pressed to find any better racing than the racing we get to see up here twice a week!

And as for Nascar, I enjoy watching it when I can, but I don't care if I ever get to see a live race in person! I see enough great live racing in person!

its so refreshing to know that the only racing worth watching is in cornwall ontario. i suppose outside of that, the rest are just wasting there time. we all need to move to cornwall ontario and work at the domtar plant. that has to be something to look forward too. no wonder the racing is so good there, no one really knows whats going on

I never said that, YOU did! Yeah, the racing at Cornwall is good, but I like the racing at Brockville much better! Okay, okay, I won't mention the racing up here any more, seeing as how I can't even comment on it without some yahoos thinking I'm bragging and stuff! By the way, have fun working at Domtar, seeing as how it's been shut down for about 4 years now! And another thing! People on here are talking like I live in Cornwall! I don't! I'm not from there and I've never lived there!

No one knows what's going on up here? I didn't want to say this, but you leave me no choice! On the DIRTcar circuit, Cornwall motor Speedway is regarded as one of, if not the finest facilities going! Brockville Ontario Speedway is known to have one of, if not the best racing surfaces on the circuit! The racing we see up here is fast, close and very well organized, not some redneck track with hillbilly rules featuring cars that probably should be in a boneyard somewhere! The enduro cars up here look better than some of your top race cars! Hell, some demo cars look better! Oh sure, many of you probably haven't heard of the tracks up here, but that means diddly-squat to the fans up here! Brockville and Cornwall are only two of about 20 track under the DIRTcar Motorsports banner! DIRTcar Motorsports is owned by the World Racing Group, which also owns the Outlaw Late Models and Outlaw Sprints! So, like I said, the fact that people at a hillbilly track in a hick town in a hick Province hasn't heard of the racing up here won't keep me awake at nights! I didn't want to be as harsh as I was, but some people left me no choice! I realized what I said will royally piss off some of you, probably to the point that you'll never forgive me, but that's life! Some times you have to break a few eggs to make an omlette!

Yet you continue to waste everyone’s time with your mindless posts and constant babbling about stuff us "hicks" don't even care about. If it’s so great up in Ontario, keep your comments in Ontario. Stop hijacking this guest book and get a life!!!!!!.

Mindless posts and constant babbling? I think there's more than a few on here who enjoy reading my posts, mindless and babbling as you claim them to be! So I've hijacked the board, have I? When I read that, I almost passed out from laughing so hard! By the way, that was extremely impressive the way you quoted me at the beginning of your post! Perhaps I was a little harsh when I referred to the people there as "hicks"! Maybe that should've only been intended for "mindless", "babbling" people, yeah, ones such as you!

Hey fan of nl, you don't REALLY want me banned from here, do you? You say he/she, even though I've stated that I'm a guy probably a hundred times! And you say that I don't have a clue? Pavement racing is great! A great cure for insomnia, that is! Come on now, tell everybody the REAL reason you want me banned! It's because I'm smarter than you! I heard you want everyone banned that's smarter than you! Geez, there'd be nobody left on here!

With a comment like that, you certainly show your age. I would say you are no more than 15 maybe 16. Typical mainland know it all. Save your BS for the forums on the mainland where everything is green and perfect. We will take our dirt track and race on sunday's and pay no mind to the mainlanders who have a smart ass answer for every question, and it seems here, 3 or 4 answers for every question as you all like to just hear yourselves talk or type as the case may be. Listen for once and take heed, take a break from this site, most people here are sick of seeing your nic under every post with some mainland attitude about anything that moves.

I'm a race fan in central that has been to many races at Thundervalley, but I make the trips to avondale every now and again to watch some dirt racing. It's exciting to say the least. But I wanted to ask the chosen 1 something...... you're talkin about a couple of tracks in Ontario, would you happen to know if either of them have anything on the go in October month? I've looked into Barrie speedway but they're shut down in october.

I know it's a bit off topic of avondale, just looking for some info.

Thanks!

I think the only track that has any racing in October in Ontario is Brockville speedway! At least, that's the only dirt track that I'm aware of! At Brockville on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2pm, there is a 360 sprint car race, as well as a 40-lap $1500 to win Sportsman race, plus Street Stocks! I mentioned a while back that there was no racing in October up here, but I completely overlooked this event! You can check out the website www.brockvillespeedway.com
