Good god! The plumber came two weeks ago to change a value in the boiler room, and in the process, he shut off the heat for the front room of our house. The Red Bat has been resting quietly in the offseason against the wall in the front room, but recently it had to endure sub 55 degree temperatures.

The problem has been rectified, and the thermostat is set to fluctuate between 62-70 degrees every day.

Red Bat should be fine for Frosty Spring Training, which is less than 70 days away!

Stay tuned!

The red bat has not endured such a warm winter as it is experiencing now. Typically, the red bat's internal temperature varies with the outdoor air temperature. Such unnatural conditions concern me.

70 - 48, well now 47, gives our Capitan a good 20+ days of family time to tend to an angry mother and screaming baby. Therefore, come spring training, there should be no excuses whatsoever for any lack of Frosty commitment. Lay the smack down now, we request of you. Informing your lifetime partner in advance of your Frosty schedule will alleviate any stress and arguments on Frosty gamedays.

Yes, Frosty Management is cracking down this year. The free agent market is booming in 2010, so we want to ensure all Frosties safety and commitment to excellence.

There have been rumors flying about that the red bat had endured some damage over the weekend in a flood at its winter storage facility. To set the record straight, management has investigated the incident and determined that no additional damage was witnessed. Management is reevaluating its relationship with the winter storage facility for storage of the red bat in the future as a number of alarming, dangerous incidents have taken place there over the past 12 months - from floods, to faulty temperature controls, to cell-phone eating pools, to neglected and diseased trees, to renovations, to potentially dangerous outside parties held during hurricanes. Please stay tuned.

To make things worse, TMZ is reporting that the Red bat has a substance abuse problem. However, there is no truth to the story that the Red bat is
getting treatment for a sex addition problem at the same facility that Tiger Woods is currently attending.

This just in...the Red Bat admits to an "inappropriate" relationship with the Blue Bat. The Green Bat could not be reached for comment. Frosty Management has been asked to launch an investigation into the matter.

The off-season "Mayhem" continues in Frostyland.

Frosty Management continues to receive anonymous text messages questioning the nature of the Red Bat. Speculation is that the Frosty Red Bat is supplemented with enhanced equipment. Evil ones sending these messages are requesting the Red Bat be inspected, and the demand has been made for the Frosties to come clean just like McGwire did.

In order to set the record straight, Frosty Management plans on holding a meeting this weekend. Our sponsor will be on hand to discuss her financial commitment to the team, but it appears an increased participation of Frosty members is needed to reap the rewards of sponsorship.

Please stay tuned.

Good god! Who the hell needs this drama. I think I have come to grips with accepting the fact we will never beat these evil teams with juiced bats and head cases. Sign us up for D - Ball out in Hauppauge. CCD will be closer to my house now, so we can carpool on gamenights.
