| So I was sitting here today while my baby was sleeping just listening to some videos and I came across one that stuck with me about our TEAM this year…the thing that he said was “To have the results that only 5% get you have to have the guts and drive to do what only 5% do”…now I know that we all have families and responsibilities BUT if we want to be successful as a TEAM we ALL have to put in the work. 95% of EVERY team just show and play Saturdays and I am not sitting here pointing fingers and saying there is anything wrong with that but if we want to be in the top…that upper 5% we are all going to have to make sacrifices, and get rid of some of these pleasures and put in the time to make yourself better, and if you can’t do that than just say so and we can move forward as a TEAM and find those guys who are willing to do that. At the end of the day if youre not putting in the time youre not cheating yourself YOURE cheating EVERY other guy who is putting in the time for the TEAM.
For as long as I have been playing softball BIGTEN has been the team that doesn’t follow the rest of the pack they have always been the team that walks to opposite way…well WHAT THE FUCK is going on this year??? It’s not rocket science if you put in the work WE will be all the better for it…we have always been the team that has been criticized and now if you look on the board there is NOTHING…no one is scared of us and worse than that NO ONE hates us this year….well im DONE im walking the other way of the rest of the group of teams I hope the rest of us do the same….we CAN BE GREAT but we have to have the guts to make the sacrifices to make that happen.
