| How about that Township team?! Three-game winning streak, two wins against the Roosters, another against Lyon's Pub, ALL BY LATE INNING COMEBACKS! What the fu*@ has gotten into these clowns?
As the coach, that last sentence is not serious. What has happened is the pitching is far more effective and consistent, the infield is not engaging in a four-man circle jerk over every difficult ground ball, and the entire lineup has learned how to have an effective at bat, soup to nuts. Having posted this, the Mud Ducks will probably kick seven kinds of dog shit out of us tomorrow, and we may as well play freaking naked at Midway given the hex I am probably creating hereby, but GOD DAMN winning beats blows to the head every tuesday and thursday night.

| Being the coach of the Roosters I congratulate ya but if you ask the other 8 teams that have beat us this year its not exactly refrigerator material. We will be around at the end of the year to play....(drink beer)

| Absolutely not trying to rub anything in, Hornz; you have to remember where we were to understand how ecstatic we are to be here now. We just got beat 1-0 on an unearned run Saturday, then played Sunday at Midway and beat North End 2-1 (another unearned run, by the way). I used to advertise for pitchers in the local shopper rags, in the shitter at Deja Vu, at VA hospitals, detox centers, man--you name it. Happy to be competing, you could say.
