Hello All... clearing up a few issues that have occured already with doubleheaders. To begin they start at 6 pm and 730, if a team is not present they still have a 15 min window, if they are not there by 615 then the game is called. The first game is as many innings as can be played(up to 7), no new inning will start after 715. At 714 a new inning can begin and this inning will be determined as the final inning and be unlimited runs.
This is the umps responsibilty(cellphone/watch) to moniter(he/she can check time with coaches as well). The runs are only unlimited if the umpire deems it the last inning, and this MUST be declared at the start of the inning. I suggest both coaches also watch the clock.
I can tell already that people are not liking the doubleheaders, but they can work with the cooperation of all the teams.
Any questions please contact me. Im back at home after my surgery.
Roger
