| It is hard to believe that this year several of us, including Sensei Kelly, Mr Menies and Mr Kilstein have been students of Kyoshi for 25 years. Together, we have seen students come and go some make it to green belt, some to purple and some to brown and Black Belt. Inevitably, some return, because Kyoshi always leaves the door to the Dojo open. In some cases they return to become fine young instructors, such as Mr.Peter McNamara, who started with us at the age of 8. We watched him grow-up, go to college, get a job with Jet Blue and get married!
We have also added some long time friends and students of Kyoshi to our Dojo,Renshi Petty and Mr.Abrahams, both very welcome additions to our HKC Family!
We have been to weddings, funerals, Bar Mitzvahs, graduations and barbecues!
The underlying theme is Kyoshi Graham he has always been there for all of his students. He listens freely and without being judgmental. he offers his wisdom and advice when he deems it necessary. He is an amazing Martial Artist, instructor, mentor and above all he is always approachable and available for us to talk to. Most of all he has been our steadfast friend and for all of this and after 25 years, I thought it was time to say Thank You for all that you do and all that you are.
