| So how’s the Toronto professional sports scene doing?
Toronto Blue Jays – we all know about Osuna. Surprise his t-shirt day scheduled for this Thursday has been cancelled. Too bad I saw a good picture they could use on the t-shirt of him sitting in a cell.
Raptors – what an embarassment. I guess the school yard regular season ended and the real ball started. They have no leaders – DeRozen 21 points in the LAST 2 games and flagrant foul out. Lowry, DeRozen and Ibaka (who is he?) combined salary of $ 83 million PER year
TFC – top scorer Altidore out for 8 weeks. At least they are not last in their division. Second last.
Maple Leafs – coach Babcock has to go to the U.S. to see the golden boy Matthews and tell him we love him and he can go on the ice whenever he wants. No need to ask just jump over the boards.
How come we never hear anything about: Toronto Marlies – in the East Conference final and the Toronto Wolfpack Rugby 9-1-1.

Facts based on records show:
- BJays are better than 2 of the 5 pro MLB California teams
- Leafs were better than all 4 NHL California teams but were no better in advancing in the playoffs
- Toronto FC is better than 1 of the 3 Cal. Soccer teams
- Raptors were better than all 4 NBA Cal. teams.
But I bet Warriors are going to the finals.
- Argos (is the CFL really professional?) as compared to 4 Cal. NFL teams????? Really
So, Toronto teams (excluding NFL) are 68% better than Cal. teams - with NFL teams they are 55% better
I believe Toronto is one of the 4 largest cities in North America.
So I guess I'm suppose to settle for poor sports entertainment and keep paying????

No chance for ordinary Joe to take kids to the games. Used by corporate to promote their brand (see: Rogers) with no critic of shitty or rotten behaviour (see: Osuma) A bunch of supposed analysts telling us BJs have a chance at the wild card. Really?

| Moulty, thanks for reminding me about lacrosse. The Toronto Rock were 3rd from the bottom in their division. They suck.
In my first post of May 9,2018 I wrote "TFC – at least they are not last in their division. Second last. Toronto Marlies – in the East Conference final and the Toronto Wolfpack Rugby 9-1-1."
P.S. neither Marlies or Wolfpack teams get the respect/coverage they deserve.
So unless there is pro Synchro Swimming or professional Ping Pong - I think I covered the embarrassing Toronto Pro sport scene.

the visitors

- Buck a beer
- Free tickets every time you have a problem

Considering that Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America and as such you would think the owners would have some pride and invest in winning teams.
On the contrary they are the laughing stock in most sports. Am I being negative – no I’m just giving the facts.
.
Blue Jays: 4th out of 5 in the American East
TFC: 12th out of 14. 1 win in 6 games and 2 draws in those 6
games.
Raptors: 12th of 15 in the East
Argonauts: last 2 seasons played Won 4 Lost 14 both
seasons and didn’t make playoffs.
Toronto Wolfpack: went bankrupt and were refused entrance to
their previous league.
Toronto Rock, they're moving to Hamilton.
Maple Leafs: good to see they are doing well. I think a Beer
League team could beat the Habs. And let’s not forget
the 54 years.
Ya, I’m really proud of the Toronto sports teams.

| So I checked out the TV for thr Toronto sports HIGHLIGHTS.
Raptors: lost their 15th in a row by 58 points. Did the Raps only play 3 quarters?
Jays: 1 hit last night, 9 hits in last 3 games, runs 19 to 2. Do you think big league pitchers will be lining up to come to TO with this support.
Leafs: getting ready for playoffs at home vs. team chasing them for 3rd place = 1 goal.
Thank god Toronto Rock (home in Hamilton) and TFC not playing.
