Titans bomb away, 3 leave the yard
This game would feature patience, followed by some pre 4th of July fireworks. Royals SP Jimmy Bridges struggled with his control, leading to 3 first inning runs by the Titans. After that, the So Cal's found their power stroke. First, Marty Campbell went deep to dead centerfield, then Dion Deas hit a towrring shot to leftfield. Then to top things off, Daniel Gutierrez hit a 3 run laser over the rightfield fence (finishing the contest with 7 rbi for the game).
SP Mario Pena cruised to his 4th victory of the season.
