Jordan Moskal Leads The BabyBoys Past Menifee INDIANS
Jordan Moskal was dominant on the bump, as the righty rang up 12 strikeouts in The BabyBoys's 12-3 victory over Menifee INDIANS on Sunday at Murrieta Valley High School. Moskal gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings while walking five.
The BabyBoys got on the board in the top of the third inning after Chris Thomas singled to the right side of the infield, Menifee INDIANS committed an error, Menifee INDIANS dropped a third strike, and Freddy Hill lined out, each scoring one run.
Three more The BabyBoys runs crossed the plate in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 12-0. Patrick Carson homered to center field, scoring two runs, and Hill was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
Hill, the number seven hitter for The BabyBoys, led the way with three runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-5 on the day. Thomas and Carson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for The BabyBoys while hitting back-to-back. The BabyBoys had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Jaxon Valenzuela and Moskal led the team with two walks each. Moskal stole two bases.
