A's, Blue Sox Tie Before Monsoon Hit

The Muhlenberg A's and the Tamaqua Blue Sox were scheduled for a doubleheader Saturday afternoon and managed to play ten innings in game one before the heavy rains hit Gochnauer Field. The A's managed only two hits but did scratch out a run in the bottom half of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Pete McGinley scoring Jordan Jeter to tie the game. Elijah Keller threw seven innings of three-hit ball giving up no earned runs while striking out five.
