Ryan Bittner did all he could to give Mongoose Baseball a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Butler, as Mongoose Baseball lost 1-0 in seven innings at Baker on Saturday.
Bittner had a sound game at the plate for Mongoose Baseball . Bittner went 1-2. Bittner singled in the sixth inning.
Bittner kept Butler off balance while he was on the mound. Butler managed just two hits off of the Mongoose Baseball 's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked six and struck out seven during his five innings of work.
