Proulx’s 2-Hit 3RBI Leads Specs Over Hogs
Southbridge Spectacles managed through a push by Charlton Suggamahoggs in the first inning where Southbridge Spectacles coughed up three runs, but Southbridge Spectacles still won 10-5 on Saturday. The big inning for Charlton Suggamahoggs came thanks to a single by Christian Cutroni and a fielder's choice by Dan Foley.
Southbridge Spectacles pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Eric Proulx doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs and Sean Lavallee grounded out, scoring one run.
Southbridge Spectacles tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Ben Guimont and Matt LaBonte each drove in runs during the inning.
Proulx was the winning pitcher for Southbridge Spectacles. He allowed ten hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out six.
Jeremy Rabidou took the loss for Charlton Suggamahoggs. He allowed 11 hits and ten runs over five innings, striking out six.
