Stahl Hurls 2-Hit Gem as Terriers Defeat Lobos, Ks 13!

Terriers defeated Sylvania Lobos 4-1 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Terriers batting in the bottom of the fifth when Chad Matthus singled off of Kyle Sacher, driving in two runs.

Terriers knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. Will Haueter's sac fly scored one run for Terriers.

Chandler Stahl earned the win for Terriers. He pitched seven innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out 13. Kyle Sacher took the loss for Sylvania Lobos. He threw six innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out six.

Chad Matthus went 1-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with two runs batted in. Terriers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dominic Cistone had the most chances in the field with 13.

Christian Stanziano led Sylvania Lobos with one run batted in. He went 2-for-3 on the day. Sylvania Lobos was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Christian White made the most plays with six.
