3R Hitter's Club Holds Off Outlaws To Post First DNL Win
Led by a 3 run Joe Kraft Home Run, the 3R Hitter's Club was appeared poised to cruise to its first DNL victory after 4 innings leading by a score of 7-1. Hitter's club hurler Brock McCormack had not allowed a hit through those first 4 innings and though the weather the threatened, the Outlaws had not. But all that changed in the bottom of the 5th, when the Outlaws not only broke up the no-hitter but exploded for 5 runs to narrow the lead to 7-6. Patrick Brennan relieved for the Hitter's club, and worked around 4 walks to get the save and secure the Hitter's Club's first win.
