Terriers Fall To Toledo Hawks In Low-Scoring Affair

Both teams were strong on the mound on Sunday, but Toledo Hawks was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Terriers on Sunday. Brock Wenger started the game for Terriers and recorded 15 outs.

Toledo Hawks took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Childress homered off of Brock Wenger, driving in one run and Wenger induced Hunsberger to ground out, but one run scored.

Theiss earned the win for Toledo Hawks. He went five innings, giving up one run, six hits, striking out three, and walking zero. York recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Toledo Hawks. Wenger took the loss for Terriers. He pitched five innings, giving up two runs, four hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Jared Houser led Terriers with two hits in two at bats. Terriers didn't commit a single error in the field. Shawn Baker had the most chances in the field with seven.
