Radnor Continues Hot Hitting, Beats Harriton 13-3
Libby Tewksbury led Radnor to a big 13-3 mercy win over Harriton. Libby pitched a complete game, allowing only 2 earned runs, and picked up her first Central League victory. Libby chipped in with 3 hits and 3 RBIs as the Raiders pounded 16 hits overall in sunny but cold and windy conditions down at Maple Zone.
Radnor received offensive contributions up and down the line up. Audrey Rosenblum had 3 hits including a double, walked once, scored 3 runs and drove in 2 during the game. Quinn Tobias had 2 hits including a double, scored once and drove in Audrey in the first inning to jump start the Raiders. Freshman Amanda McGrath had two two-out RBI singles, scored a run and snagged a line drive with the bases loaded and turned a DP to end the 2nd inning. Cate Remphrey was on base all five times, while Grace Remphrey was on base both times with a walk and an RBI single. Kate O'Sullivan scored two runs and had two hits, while Sydney D'Entremont had a two out two-run triple in the sixth inning.
Despite the windy conditions, Radnor played solid defense all game. Next game for Radnor is a home tilt with Springfield on Friday afternoon.
