Carlton edges Active Hose on opening day!!

Pitching was dominant in the opening game of the 2007 Albion Midget League Season. Ryan Golden struck out 13 and allowed 1 hit in six innings of work. Ed Narburgh and Jeffrey Rice combined to allow only 2 Carlton hits on the day. They struck out 11. Joey Rosado hit a bases loaded double in the second inning to drive in two and later added a run scoring walk. Connor Barleben had an infield single in the second to account for the other Carlton run. Carlton will travel to Barre for a Monday game while Active/Harts next game is Wednesday vs. Sandstone.
