Bandits Score 3 in Bottom of 9th for Comeback Win
Steve Daerr (3-5, 2 RBIs), having his finest game as a Bandit, hit a bases loaded, 2-out, walk off single to complete the Bandits come back win in the bottom of the 9th. Hot Hitting Mike Rojas went 4-5 and Second Half Star Steve Barnhart went 3-5 with 3 RBIs, including one on a crucial 7th inning triple to pull the Bandits close. Garrett Worchell and Darin Hubert had 2 hits each. For the second game in a row, the Bandits got a complete game win from Jon Scheuerman who gave up only 12 hits with 4 strikeouts. In one of the most exciting games of the year, the Bandits jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first. The Jays tied the game in the top of the 4th before the Bandits regained their 2 run lead in the bottom of the inning. Then the Jays tied the game and eventually built a 3 run lead before the Bandits started their late game batting heroics.
