Bandits Topple Creoles

For the 2nd week in a row, the Bandits used a skeleton crew to bang out a victory. The Bandits managed 25 hits with new leadoff man Bob Sherwin, Darren Hubert and Jon Scheuerman all having a banner day with 4 hits apiece. Hubert had 6 RBIs on the day with a 2B and 3B. Fellow Banditos Jeff Gould and Mike Rojas each had 3 hits while Rojas collected 4 RBIs along the way. Big Johnny Scherm picked up the win going 5 innings before giving way to relievers Jeff Wells, Jeff Gould and Anthony DiPietro. The Bandits send well wishes to Mark Gorman who is recovering from a severe hamstring injury suffered while shopping at Costco. The Bandits look forward to meeting the first place Brewers in two weeks hopefully with a full squad.
