Two WA Pitchers Rally Together In Shutout Victory Against CV

West Allegheny Indians defeated Chartiers Valley 2-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Austin Hendrick struck out David Verducci to finish off the game.
The pitching was strong on both sides. West Allegheny Indians pitchers struck out five, while Jake Lindow sat down eight.
In the first inning, West Allegheny Indians got their offense started when Luke Lambert singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
One bright spot for Chartiers Valley was a single by Griffin Beattie in the first inning.
Seth Rosen earned the win for West Allegheny Indians. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on six hits, striking out three and walking one. Hendrick threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Lindow took the loss for Chartiers Valley. He went seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out eight.
Trey Zeroski led West Allegheny Indians with two hits in three at bats.
Konnor Corchado went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Chartiers Valley in hits.
