Bullets overpower Lakers leading to rule change
The Bullets strategy worked, they enforced the game to be 4 on 4, while the Lakers had 9 guys. The Lakers struggled early as the Bullets came very hot out the gate. The Lakers never led and seemingly couldn't get into rhythm as a team. The focus on minutes and getting everybody in was a very evident factor, but that is not to take away from the Bullets very successful game on both sides of the ball. They forced 19 Lakers turnovers while only having 11 themselves. This has perhaps become the NOBL's angriest rivalry, as the Lakers remain extremely angered and frustrated by the forfeit, and the enforcement of 4s while the Bullets had 5 guys playing.
