Pelicans pull away in final minutes for important W
The Lakers continue to struggle as a team. Despite an impressive effort from Dave Delattre, the team could not put together fluent offense and had too many mishaps on defense. The Pelicans dominated the rebounding category to get 2nd and 3rd chance points as well as limit the Lakers to 1 shot per possession often. The Lakers made a great rally after being down 17 to close it to 6 with 5 minutes left, but in the end more turnovers and missed layups proved too much as the Pelicans pulled away for the important win.
