GIANTS EDGE HAWKS IN WEEK 1
Hawks Cheer: Cheerleader of the week was Taylor Copenhagen for her excellent leadership skills and great attitude. The girls preformed 2 cheers at halftime and two cheers at the end of the game.

Giants Cheer: Cheerleader of the week is 7th Grade Captain Ariel Leeth. Keep smiling Ariel!

GIANTS:
The Giants and Hawks faced off at Central Jr. High Saturday in Mid Cities week 1 action. Lukus Sanchez, Kylen Fiefia and the Giants Offensive front led the way to set up Kamron Daniels with the early opening drive TD. Things tightened up defensively and The Giants took a 6 to 0 lead into the half.
The Hawks came roaring back with a touchdown on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter to tie the game. The Giants soon answered with 4th a quarter Isaiah Fuller touchdown run. Kamron Daniels added the points after, and a tough Defense led by Derek Gurira would hold on to secure the 14 to 6 victory for the Giants.
