My nerves were shot by the end of the game. It doesn't get any better than that. In my 8 yrs of being an AD that was the most exciting game I have experienced to date. I also appreciate the sportsmanship by all (players,team,staff) before & after the game. Man you all roll deep. That's the way to do it. Enjoy this huge victory and get ready to rock this week in practice in preparation for "the ship". Everyone is behind your team and will be there in the stands cheering you on as you play in the championship game. Juanito #50, you have been here before, two years ago with our Jr. Midget team. Remember the feeling you felt when our mission fell short. Be the leader that I know you are and help your team prepare. Take it one play at a time and go out and execute and have fun, just remember that there is no better type of fun than winning it all!!! As a former wolfpack player, I am proud of what this team and this special coaching staff has done this year. Thank you for trusting your kids with us. All you parents were very supportive and always showed up to the games and had those bleachers rocking. Players, thank you for giving it your all. We, as a team made some mistakes throughout the year but that is okay as long as we learn from those mistakes and use them to make ourselves better. This was the first year in football for many of you and you all got better as the year went on and that is all we can ask of you. The season did not go as planned but there is always next year. This year was a learning year for both players and coaches. You guys learned our system and we learned what you kids were all about. Next year there will be some changes and it is up to you kids to accept those changes and challenge yourselves to work hard in the off season. Next year, if you study your playbooks, our offense will grow and we will put in a whole lot more formations and plays. Good job and just know it was a pleasure coaching you boys. Coaches, thank you Beto for letting me part of something as amazing as this. I know my calls may always be questioned but I know I have your support and help. ( Option next year!!!!!!). We have a great coaching staff and I hope we all stay together for the next two years with these boys. AD's, thank you for all your work behind the scenes that goes unnoticed at times and thank you for all your help with Evan and A.J. Thank you Devin for playing with my boys.
