It was hard for some to realize that just because we moved on, didnt mean we were not friends. We love this sport and all who enjoyed it with us. 22 and I are still active in the sport and play club ball for Jersey Intensity 18U-KOD and still play high school ball with American Heritage- Plantation. 22 has committed to play D1 softball at Tennessee, so Watch her in 2018 on Saturdays. Thank you to all the our players. You are the reason we make sacrafices and you made us proud with your never die attitude. You earned the right to be called State Champs. Thank you to all my fellow coaches (this includes you to Josh). Not only for proving that six heads are better than one but for making my daughter a better player and person. Thank you to all the parents and families. This season was not only about softball. We shared very special times together and it all came natural. I had the best time of probably my entire life. The game faces, the attitudes, the undomitable spirits, the willingness and THE HEARTS of these Lil'ladies is what caused it all. Yes,and winning games was fun too but never have I seen such determined young athletes, anywhere.I love them all as they were my own and it was a privledge to be able to coach and be a part of this amazing Championship season. To the parents and fellow coaches, THANX for all the memories embedded in my heart.We were a TEAM, A team blessed with love and direction while always wanting and expecting the best from our girls.See you all at the field giving tribute to our banner.. When Javier put together this team I knew we had something special. Our Diamond Dusters don't give up. They prove to everyone that they are #1!!! I would like to thank all the coaches and parents for making it an unforgettable season we became a family and hopefully it will last for a long time. Don't ever forget when the girls played the travel team for the Diamond Dusters 8 under they finish as ISA & USSSA States Champions!!!! |

How great does that sound? I can't wait to see all the girls names on a Championship Banner at Silver Lakes Park. This has been a fantastic season for a really great group of girls, who worked really hard to get where they are at. I have seen so much improvement in each and everyone of them. Thanks so much to all of our great coaches and all of our parents who are always there to help. We could not have asked for a better summer. I don't think any of us want it to end. |
