I agree. I also see a Yankee/Reds match-up. As far as the team called the "Lauderdale Reds" yes they have maybe "matched" the success of the Yankees. The teams have always had great games. A 74% winning pct. is great for the Reds. 4 Championships to the Yankees 3. Although, we hope to even that out this season. Anyway, both teams have been near the top for the last 16 seasons. Hopefully, the rivaly will continue. Good luck the rest of the way. Merry Christmas and a Yankee New Year. I must add one thing. The Yankees totally dominate the Reds when it comes to the Official Team Web Site. So we have that going for us. Which is nice.

"Unmatched" Success. I keep coming across this term every once in a while when reading about the Ft. Lauderdale Yankees. Who is the Author? I heard a rumor that there is this other team in the league called the LAUDERDALE REDS. A little birdie told me that over the last 16 or so seasons, especially since new Management took over 13 seasons ago, they may have a pretty good record of success too. Has anyone heard of this team? : ) See you guys in late February in the Broward County Championship game. You guys are a Powerhouse for sure. I look forward to what I know will be a very tough game against a great Yankee's team. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Came across a autographed picture of an FtL Yankee player, looks like it might be from the 70s or 80s. African Amerian ballpaller, left-handed, signature looks like "B Jaf..." but it might be "B Taf..." can't tell. No number markings at all. Any ideas of who this is?

I am moving to the Ft Lauderdale area in late January and was hoping to find a baseball team to join this year. I played in the MSBL/MABL last year with the 3 time defending Boulder Red Sox in Colorado and can play 2nd, 3rd, OF and can lay down bunts and move runners with my bat. Please contact me if you know of a roster spot open or for an on-call guy. I would prefer to play full time. Thanks! nwhitney03@hotmail.com

Hey, do any of you guys want to hang out with some fellow Yankees fans when the game's on? We have a forum where we just basically go back and forth to break the game down as it's being played. It'd be especially cool to have some folks with their fingers more on the pulse than the rest of us. http://forums.canyonofheroes.com Hope to see ya'll there!
