The point is to see who has the best team to get them thru the weekend. I somewhat agree with you higgy. I think something needs to change. I think the 4 teams from the semis from the year before get in. Or the 2 teams that were in the final. For the top 3 teams from each league. I disagree it should be the best 6 teams in the province not 3 from each league. If it's 3 and 3 or 5 and 1 I don't know? Playdown with in your area like we did when we were kids. For playing out the season I know its a dig at us. And like I said at many meetings. Once we get cancelled we can't get field time. Sometime there is 6 sometime 8 games on our field in a weekend. We did try to make up our games but no one could because of the schedule. We also only play our home games at home. Not a neutral site. That's why it's called home field advantage. Anyways. Be nice to know what the hell is going on with provs who's playing where and when. Some teams will need to books accommodations. |
| Admin August 17, 2014 7:48:39 PM Entry ID: 2057252 | Well the problem is that BNS doesn't give a rats ass about Intermediate baseball, so I feel it's up to all the teams involved to really determine where they should be ranked. It's pretty obvious that there are not 10 AAA teams nor is there 8 AAA teams. I think it's just hard for teams to "step down" to AAA when they have played AAA in the past. In my opinion last years winner should be the only team that's a no doubter. I still think that the top 3 teams in each of the nsibl and the mibl are the teams that should be going AAA and if one of those teams drop out they get replaced with the next best team from the respective league. Honestly it would make a better AAA, A BETTER AA, AND MAYBE EVEN A BETTER A DIVISION. This obviously can't be done this year but why not starting next season? I think this would also give teams another reason to play out schedules and gives more meaning to our seasons. |
