Hope all is well and everyone is excited about starting play...we start in 6 weeks. This is the year for us (BYU)to put it into the NCAA playoffs...we have worked hard and most of us have been together for 2 years waiting for this moment to excel. I KNOW we will get there. I hope all of you Spartans are working "NOW" to be ready for May at the state! You have really done well and it is always great to hear about your success. Remember college is there for those who "WORK" and are "TEAM" oriented not just an individual! You go as a team and succeed as a team...college baseball is a blast...but remember it is a JOB and you MUST be prepared. Good luck to those returning and to those who will wear the the marroon for the 1st time...I'll be watching...Win the conference and go far!!! Panda |

It is YOUR desire that drives the dedication of your daily routine. You are where you are because you earned it, no one gave it to you. Remember, no coach will ever give you a starting spot because you think you deserve it. They will only give you a spot if they think you've earned it. It is a grueling life to play baseball for a living and it is not for everyone, only the ones that earn it. Good luck to you all and keep up the great work. |

Provo, Utah November 15, 2006 1:46:31 PM Entry ID: 994268 | Heys Coaches..Thanks for the nice acknowledgement of my year. Also, congrats to Wojo, Trod and Hatch. I am off to practice and just wanted to say have a great Holiday. We are working hard as ateam to win the MWC this year. I am personally working very hard to improve my game and get stronger and mentally ready for a big year for the Cougars. I hope all the future Spartans are working hard to get ready for '07 to also have a great year. We must have run 40 miles this fall by now...we are boxing now and doing speed work as well as throwing and bullpens...still a long way to go till Feb when the season starts. Work hard, have pride in your team, and remember "nothing comes easy"! Panda |
