Welcome to FGS Spring Basketball Season!!!

FGS Sports is unlike "traditional" leagues, because we offer the features you value most:

League Format: Play is 5 on 5, with no intentional contact allowed. Teams are organized into divisions based on age of the child. Teams will consist of around 8 to 10 players each.

Schedule: The Season begins TBD. It consists of a 9 week season beginning with the jamboree. You will play 7 regular season games, a jamboree game, and one playoff game. Exact schedules for all leagues are TBD. All games will be on Saturday Mornings and will last no more than an hour.

Location: Location in Paulding that is more convenient.

Practice: We encourage no more than one 2 practices per week, and for those practices to be held for an hour. Thus making it a twice per week commitment for kids, parents, and coaches.

Equipment: The league provides each player an official FGS Sports Basketball reversible jersey. Players may wear shorts of any type, as long as they do not have pockets and as long as they are red, white or black. Appropriate footwear is clean white or black sneakers.

Awards: All kids will receive a participation award with trophies being awarded to the top teams.

Coaches & Referees: All coaches, usually a volunteer parent of a child playing on the team, will receive mandatory background checks. Please consider volunteering! All referees are state-trained to ensure the highest level of professionalism during all games.
