What Parents and Former Players Have to Say about Us
My son, Michael Newman, is going to be pitching for Ohlone College this year. He was voted "2016 1st Team All-MVAL Pitcher of the Year" as a Senior for Irvington baseball. He started playing for Frank Durand (Turn 2) at 12 years old. Michael loved every minute of it. He never once complained about Frank. No one has spent more time coaching my son than Frank. Frank's passion for the game is infectious and he's really good at getting the best out of his players. I have absolutely no regrets about my son playing for Turn 2!
Update Michael is now headed to Antelope Valley College to continue his education/career.
Being part of Turn 2 was one of the best decisions we made. Baseball became our life because of your passion and dedication to making the kids better ball players. The memories and experience will last a lifetime!

Turn 2 Baseball and Coach Frank Durand are a big reason why my son is playing Division 1 baseball today. Turn 2 took my young son, a kid with little experience and skill, and returned a young man driven, respectful, focused and committed to a career in baseball. Coach Durand holds his players accountable while teaching them to respect the game. He has a "no nonsense" approach to practice and the game and provides candid and actionable feedback allowing his players to improve. Being part of the Turn 2 family was an amazing experience with lifelong friendships. Coach Durand remains a mentor to my son, it is like you have a coach for life. If you have a chance to play for Turn 2 take it!
