Winslow Jr High School / Rec Field, 20 Dean St, Winslow ME
From I-95 N, take Exit #130 (Waterville, Rt 104, Main Street; at end of ramp take left onto Main Street/Rt 104; go straight for ~ 4 miles past Hannafords, K-Mart and McDonalds on your right, into the city; go over RR crossing and come to light (Rite Aid on your right and fire station on your left); you will want to follow Main Street straight thru the light (slight vear left) and all the way thru downtown (one-way, 2 lanes); stay in left lane as leave the downtown area and at light, take a left to cross the Waterville-Winslow Kennebec River Bridge; stay in left lane (3 lanes going across the bridge into Winslow) and at light take left onto Benton Ave; go ~ 0.5 miles passing Town Offices and fire station on left; after you pass the fire station, take a right onto Dean Street which is located between 2 large parking lots which are across from the old Scott Paper Mill; follow it to the end and to a parking lot; in front of you is the little league Boston Ave field and the Winslow Elementary School will be to your left. A field used for Winslow Junior High teams is located straight ahead just beyond the little league baseball field; follow the gravel path past the baseball field; the lacrosse field is in the outfield (partially) of a softball field with bleachers; it is fenced in completely.
From I-95 S, take exit #127 (Waterville, Rt 137, Kennedy Memorial Drive); at the light at end of exit ramp, take right; follow Kennedy Mem Dr past shopping, hospital, shopping, CVS (on left); just past CVS, go straight through a light and veer to left to follow 137 Business (you will pass Gifford's Ice Cream on the right and the road becomes Silver St); go past a Catholic Church on the right, straight through another light and come to a stoplight where straight ahead will be a large parking area and downtown Waterville shops/restaurants; take right at light (still following 137 Business) and follow over the Waterville/Winslow bridge; stay in left lane (3 lanes going across the bridge into Winslow) and at light take left onto Benton Ave; go ~ 0.5 miles passing Town Offices and fire station on left; after you pass the Winslow fire station, take a right onto Dean Street which is located between 2 large parking lots which are across from the old Scott Paper Mill; follow it to the end and to a parking lot; in front of you is the little league Boston Ave field and the Winslow Elementary School will be to your left.
