Pennsbury Field Hockey Team Team Tryout Information and Expectations
- Varsity and Junior Varsity Tryouts will take place on Monday, August 13 through August 16 at PHS East Field Hockey Practice Field (located ajacent to the pool house on the west side of it...not game field!).
- Morning and late afternoon sessions
- Every player needs a completed Physical Form dated on or after June 1, 2018. Please see FamilyID.com for all forms and requirements.
- Selections will be made and posted on the evening of August 16.
- Pre-Season begins immediately 8-11 and 4pm-6pm Monday through Friday.
- Expect a practice on Labor Day.
- The first scrimmage is slated for August 21.
- Once school starts, there is practice every day after school until mid-October.
REQUIRED STICK and AGILITY SKILLS
Below please find the basic skills that each player should have coming in to Pre-Season. Each skill should be practiced at top speed. Put pressure on yourself to perform each skill better and strong than the last.
