Chiefs win the 18U Bring It Tournament

 

Another great weekend for the girls going with Back to Back Championships this time winning the 18U Bring It Tournament.  The offense stayed alive again as the girls hammered the ball for the second straight weekend.  The defensive play was on point and the pitching was unmatched.  Great job by all, way to close out the fall season.  Lets Go Chiefs!!!


 

Chiefs Select Take the Title at the Fight Heart Disease Tournament

 

 

Chiefs Select came out swinging and never stopped. Including running the table on Sunday with 3 consecutive run-rules.  Great job ladies.  Keep it going.  Lets go Chiefs!!


 

Chiefs finish Runner-up in a Chiefs vs. Chiefs Showdown at Boo-Ya Tournament

Chiefs Select had a great weekend and played the game with spirit.  They came up short in the Championship game against the Chiefs Black team who also played strong throughout the weekend.  This makes back to back Runner-ups for the Select Team.  Time to go get it done girls!!! 


 

Chiefs play in the Toys For Tots College Showcase

Chiefs had another impressive weekend with solid play and great sportsmanship.  Finished 3-2 on the weekend against some great competition.  Great job ladies, keep it going.


 

Chiefs Make a Statement at Diamond Nation

Chiefs came out strong all weekend, every game.  Finished runner up to Monmouth Surf.  The Chiefs finished 5-1 on the weekend with some impressive wins and play.  Great job by all. Lets go Chiefs!!


 

Queen of The Hill

 

The Chiefs had a great day on Saturday and rolled through the day, however, we came out flat on Sunday and were eliminated early.  4th place finish.


 

Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend

Some good play again, finishing 3rd in the tournament.  Great job ladies, keep it going.


 

Labor Day Shootout

Chiefs finish 4th in the pool.  Tough weekend but some very bright spots, let's use this as a building block.  Lets go Chiefs!!

Chiefs enjoy Back to Back away College Showcases

Congratulations to the team for going to back to back college showcases and competing against some great competition while showing off your skills.  This is a great start to taking that next step.  Great job and very proud of how you performed and conducted yourself.  Keep up the great work.


 

Runner-up in the ASA Firecracker Classic Tournament

Chiefs battle to 2nd place in the ASA Firecracker Classic, but come up short in the championship game.  4 out of last 5 tournaments in the Championship game, great work, keep pushing through.  Congratulations.

 


 

Chiefs come up short in the rain shortened LI Championships

The Chiefs came up short on Saturday and finished third in the standings as the tournament was rained out on Sunday with no games played.  Keep working hard girls.

Chiefs Celebrate Year End Gathering and Show How Hard Work Pays Off!

 

The Chiefs year-end get together to show team accomplishments proves once again that hard work and dedication will prove to be successful.

Chiefs take 16U Championship Title in the USSSA Juvenile Diabetes Tournament

The Chiefs came out and braved the weather and the strong competition to take the title.  Another 16U tournament with a great result.  Great job girls.  Looking forward to the spring already.


 

Boo-Ya Tournament Semi-Finalist

The Chiefs came up just short in defending their title from the year before dropping a close game in the semi-finals.  the girls played with a lot of heart and passion.  Great job, we will be back next year to fight for this one again.


 

Chiefs get biggest win of the year

 

The Chiefs spent the night together to raise money for Relay for Life.  the Chiefs did win the Honor of having the top recognition for team with most money raised.  The team walked this year in honor of Joe Andrechuk (pictured center above), Jessica's brother.  Jessica won the award for getting the top donation dollar amount.  Congratulations girls, Great Job!  Way to make a difference on and off the field!

The girls continue to play solid as a unit and pick each other up where it's needed.  3 Championships in a row.  Great start to the fall, let's keep it going.

Chiefs start 2014/2015 Season Off Great with Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend Tourny Championship

The Chiefs started the season off right.  A slow start to the weekend would leave the Chiefs as a low seed with a 1-2 record on Saturday.  Girls came out to play on Sunday though and went 3-0 against some great competition.  They worked hard all weekend and it paid off.  Great job ladies.  As always, so proud of all of you.


 

Chiefs Finish 3rd in The Rock Sports Park tournament

The Chiefs took to the road to play some out of town competition.  The girls played great and battled through the weekend.  We came up short in the semi-final, but showed great poise and play all weekend.  Great job ladies.

 

 

Chiefs take the Title at the 2nd Annual Cecil Fielder Tournament

Chiefs defend and take the Championship Title at the 2nd Annual Cecil Fielder Tournament.  Last year this team won this tournament as a 12U team, this year we came back to defend our title as a 14U team and played flawless.  Going 6-0 on the weekend, the girls played well on Saturday, but came out with a force on Sunday.  Our 3rd Championship game in as many tournaments, the girls were determined to not let this one get away.  Great job by the girls, this was an entire team effort.


 

Chiefs make the Championship game in Great Balls of Fire

Chiefs Fastpitch make it to the big stage and place Runner-up in back to back tournaments.  The Chiefs scratch and fight their way through Sunday to get into the championship game.  They rallied late but came up just short in an exciting 8-7 loss.  Every weekend we continue to improve as players and people.  Keep up the great work, we are all very proud of you.

 


 

Chiefs place 2nd in the Memorial Day Throw Together

Chiefs Fastpitch finish as runner-up in the Memorial Day Throw Together tournament.  The competition was great and the girls rose to the occasion.  The girls started to gel this weekend and really started to rally as we came up just short of the title.  Great job girls.  Always proud.

 


 

Chiefs finish 3rd in the Fight Austism Tournament

Chiefs Fastpitch finish in 3rd place in the 16U USSSA Fight Autism Tournament.  The Chiefs struggled getting going this weekend with our first tournament for the season.  Many positives on the weekend, including playing up at 16U, looking forward to continuing on improving through the season. Great job girls.

 


 

 

USSSA Bring It Tournament - 2nd Place

Once again, can not express enough how proud I am of what you guys can accomplish game in and game out.  Great job by all involved.  The weekend was a huge success and a great way to end the fall.  Winter workouts will be here before you know it.

 


 

USSSA Halloween Havoc Tournament - 2nd Place

Congratulations again on a tremendous showing.  You continued to display poise and maturity beyond your years as you continued to battle on Sunday through a very tough field of competition.  The come from behind wins, the walk-off hits, the never give up attitude, continue to show how you are all confident and believing in yourselves.  Great job this weekend.

 


 

USSSA Boo-Ya Halloween Tournament - Champions

Great job this weekend girls.  You all went out and showed your talent.  Top to bottom, great group of girls.  You all worked very hard and again made us all very proud.

 


 

Bruce Gary Columbus Day Tournament - Champions

Once again you girls rise to the occassion. So proud of all of you every time you take the field.  Excellent job this weekend with good play, better attitude, and the best sportsmanship.  Thanks so much for you dedication and focus.

 


 

USSSA September to Remember Tournament - 2nd Place

Another great job this weekend girls.  You continue to amaze and excel.  You all did a great job and should all be very proud of your accomplishment.  We played great and we had fun.  You girls are all unbelievable.

 


 

4th Place Finish for the USSSA Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend

Tough weekend this weekend.  We struggled a bit and never really got any kind of flow going.  We have some work to do and we had a couple of takeaways to work on.  Keep your chin up, your sportsmanship and dedication to the game are second to none.  Keep up the hard work.


 

USSSA Labor Day Shootout - Champions

Chiefs Fastpitch had another great weekend.  Rocky start on Saturday but way to come alive and come out playing on Sunday.  Another great weekend.  Very prod of you all and how hard you work.  Congratulations on another championship.

 


 

 

 

Chiefs win title at Rod Simmons Summer Splash tournament

Chiefs finished their year strong going 6 - 0 in the Rod Simmons Summer Splash tournament.  An overall solid job by the team with incredible offense.  The bats were alive with an offensive explosion all weekend.  Great job Chiefs! 

 


 

Chiefs Win Riptide Beach Blast

The chiefs took the title at the Riptide Beach Blast going 5 - 0 for the weekend.  The girls were the only thing hotter than the weather.  The bats were on fire as the Chiefs racked up the offense.  Great pitching and catching by the entire staff and some outstanding defensive plays.  Great all-around job ladies.

 


 

Chiefs Take 3rd Place in Firecracker Jamboree PONY Qualifier

Chiefs played well all weekend and came up just short in the semi final of the Firecracker Jamboree.  The Chiefs went 3-0 on Saturday to put themselves in position for a run at the title but the bats stalled a bit.  The girls did a great job and we will look to build on that performance in the Beach Blast as we prepare for the USSSA World Series of Softball in Maryland later in July.  Great job girls.

 


 

Chiefs Win Title at 2013 Cecil Fielder Elite Softball Tournament

The Chiefs came out strong in this invitational tournament going 5-0 in the division and taking the title.  The girls played strong all weekend long and fought through the flat spots.  The girls did a great job.  Congratulations Chiefs.


 

Chiefs come in Runner-Up at 2013 Great Balls of Fire Tournament

Chiefs did a great job in this PONY Qualifier that was cut down to one day due to weather.  The Chiefs made the most of their day starting out in the days first games and making all the way to the finals nearly 12 hours later.  Hard work and determination had them undefeated going into the championship game where they cam up a litle short.  Great job girls.


 

Chiefs Win 2013 Midnight Madness Tournament

Chiefs fought through the night to take the title of Night Owls in the 2013 Midnight Madness Tournament.  Coffee and Sugar are the keys to lasting through this one as the Chiefs roll undefeated through the tournament.  Great job girls.


 

Chiefs Win Island Fastpitch Title

The Chiefs won the Island Fastpitch 12U Fall League by going a perfect 14-0 and bringing home their second undefeated championship season of the year. great job girls, keep up the hard work.


Chiefs Win USSSA Qualifier Monster Bash

The Chiefs had a tremendous weekend and battled their way to the title. the Chiefs played steady defense, had impressive offense, and added tight pitching to take home the crown. another impressive weekend girls, great job!

Chiefs Crowned FSA 2012 Softball Champs

The Chiefs traveled to Allentown, PA to play in the FSA 2012 4th of July Classic at Patriots Park. The girls performed amazingly. The team worked hard and battled the heat to come away with the Championship title. The final consisted of two Long Island teams, but the Chiefs were able to continue to score runs throughout the game and defeated the Frozen Ropes team from Nassau County. After 2 days of on field temps of over 100 degrees, these girls earned their title with the hardwork, dedication, and commitment it takes to be a champion. Your professionalism and sportsmanship was second to none. You have once again made your parents, families, coaches, and teammates proud.

Chiefs go Undefeated In Spring 2012 NJBL National

As the Chiefs breakout of their winter workouts, they took to the field with poise and passion. The girls went a perfect 12-0 for the spring to take the National League title. Great job girls, keep working hard.
