Dear Prospective Donor:
The Chippewa Valley Girls Hockey Association, Ltd. (CVGHA) was organized as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation in April 2006. CVGHA’s original purpose was to advocate for a WIAA girls high school hockey team. With the assistance of CVGHA and the successful promotion of girls hockey within the community, the Eau Claire and Altoona school boards agreed upon a cooperative high school team, now known as the ECA Stars. This fall the ECA Stars will be entering their 9th season.
CVGHA is currently a Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA) registered girls hockey association, which is independent of the Eau Claire and Altoona Youth Hockey Associations. Our goal is not only to offer the opportunity for girls to play hockey, but also to encourage the development of confidence, leadership, community, wellness, and many other lifelong skills on and off the ice.
In the spirit of keeping girls hockey alive by continual growth in the Chippewa Valley, CVGHA is poised and ready to support girls youth hockey this season at the U14, U12, and U10 levels. We are asking for your help. Your tax deductible donation will greatly assist to defray costs and keep our registration fees at a reasonable level. With your help we can fulfill our mission to further the sport of girls hockey in the Chippewa Valley and ensure that all girls have the opportunity to skate.
We would show our appreciation of your support by featuring your business logo and website link on our website as well as any other promotional items we would create this coming season.
We would welcome this opportunity to answer any questions you may have and to explore ways to collaborate to advance girls hockey.
