- I will maintain good academic standings.
- I will provide copies of my Report Card to my coach & Executive Board.
- I will respect my coaches, teammates, parents, officials, opponents, and myself at all times.
- I will not engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct with any coach, teammate, parent, official or opponent.
- I will be respectful of other people?s property.
- I will do my best in practice and games.
- I will be on time for practice and games.
- I will listen and learn from my Coaches.
- I will cheer on and support my teammates.
- I will hustle on and off the court.
- I will learn from losing as well as winning
- I will maintain a positive attitude.
- I will not use profane, disrespectful or abusive language.
- I will give my best effort in EVERYTHING I do.
- I will be a team player. I will put forth my best effort to attend all practices and tournaments.
- I will put forth my best effort to be on time to practices and tournaments.
- I will not use drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
Parent Code of Conduct
- I will notify the coach of any conflicts with the schedule when my athlete will not attend team events.
- I will be respectful of coaches, parents, officials, opponents and team members.
- I will be supportive of the Coach
- I will cheer for all players on the team
- I will be a positive role model
- I will be there when my child is successful or when struggling
- I will Look for opportunities to work with my child on the skills of the game
- I will be positive and supportive parent whether the team wins or loses
- I will communicate with the coach in appropriate ways; discuss your concerns off the court and in private
- I will address coaches and directors in a respectful manner and at the appropriate times (NOT during tournaments or while Coaches are actively coaching in practices).
- I will maintain a positive/supportive attitude for my child.
- I will participate in team and club events (tournaments, fundraisers & community events).
- I will not undermine or interfere with coaching decisions for the team.
- I will support disciplinary actions of the coach or the Directors of HoopNation.
- I will encourage academic excellence from my child.
- I will encourage my child to be a good sportsman and to be a team player.
- I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect, regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.
- I will refrain from using profane, disrespectful or abusive language.
- I will demand a sports environment free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol for my child.
- I will refrain from using drugs, tobacco and alcohol at AAU events and practices.
REGISTRATION AND TOURNAMENT FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Checks or Money Orders must be made payable to: HoopNation. Cash is also accepted. There is a $35 returned check fee(After two returned checks we will no longer accept check payments). The REGISTRATION & TOURNAMENT FEES are NON-REFUNDABLE.
FUNDRAISERS: Each athlete is expected to participate in a minimum of 3 organizational fundraisers, generating a minimum of $185 or pay a $185 opt-out fee.
