Suburban Youth Soccer League, NJ (Inter-County Youth Soccer Program) is a not-for-profit, recreational soccer program.   The league is a federation of town soccer clubs based in  North-Central New Jersey, selected to minimize the amount of travel required for games.


 The League was founded as a way to allow children to continue to play soccer in a semi-competitive environment while developing their individual soccer skills, knowledge of the game, and sportsmanship. 

Suburban Youth Soccer League, NJ (SYSLNJ) organizes and administers two seasons of play each soccer year.  The Fall season starts in September and runs through mid-November; the Spring season begins in early April and ends in mid-June.  Depending on the calendar/holidays/school vacations, each season is approximately 10 games long.  The league hosts and organizes the SYSL Cup.  A day were back to back, first place games for each U13 and above division are to be played as well as U9/U11 Round Robin Tournament, consisting of minimum 3 games each team.

High School – 2000/2004

For age groups were there are too many kids to fit one team, there may be a draft to make sure each kid is playing in the right flight.
